From Jan Scott
Dear new life coach,
You can't possibly know everything!
Not everyone comes to life coaching with great marketing skills; not everyone has experience of starting a business.
Don't worry, I've been there! I understand!
When I first started up as a life coach I knew nothing at all about how to set up a business or how to market myself.
I'd started working with people to help them achieve their full potential way back in 1994, but I'd never run my own business. I didn't have a clue!
So, straight away I had to start gathering information and resources, and develop ways of doing this that worked for me.
I absorbed information from every source I could find and tested my ideas -
now I can pass on all this learning to you
so that you can have a
'Flying Start'
|
'You have always given great support to other coaches and this is just another marvellous tool you have created to help others.'
|
Nowadays, around 50% of my clients are new life coaches or life coaches in training.
What's your biggest concern?
In the summer of 2005 I did some research. I asked over 100 new and in-training life coaches what their biggest concern was, as they started out in their new profession. Their answers formed the framework for my e-book 'Flying Start'.
|
'The material is written simply and easy to follow, which also allowed actions to be taken much easier'
|
Ready to buy now?
These were the kind of questions new life coaches asked me:
-
How can I stand out from the crowd?
-
What will I do on my first day as a coach?
-
How should the intake session be?
-
What if I can't think of any questions?
-
Where can I find some worksheets?
-
I live in a really remote spot, how can I be a successful coach?
-
Being a coach is a solitary activity, how can I feel part of a coaching community?
-
Can I really make loads of money as a coach?
-
How do I convert from ‘free to fee’?
-
How do I deal with clients’ resistance to paying?
-
How can I get paying clients?
-
I hate marketing – why do I have to do it?
-
What is niching?
-
Why is a niche valuable to me?
-
I can coach anyone, what's wrong with that?
-
What kinds of marketing are most effective?
-
How can I be sure to get good quality training?
-
Do I need training, or will my counselling training do?
-
Training to be a coach can be a solitary activity, how can I connect with others?
-
How soon do I need a website?
-
How can I develop a website myself?
-
What should my website include?
-
What kind of workspace do I need?
-
What if I want to work from home?
Flying Start contains answers, advice and suggestions about all these questions and many more.
I combined my own experience and knowledge with lots of research and development to create Flying Start.
|
'... another marvellous tool you have created to help others.'
'You know SO much, you put it all down so simply and you share it so readily.'
|
|
' ... immense value and help to other coaches who have completed their training but do not have experience of marketing or just completely fear the thought of it'
|
OK, so how much is it, Jan?
This is the part of the page where normally you have to read a list of various ingredients and how much they are worth - then you discover you can have £700 of material for a mere £50.
None of that for me! Flying Start ebook costs £9.95. The end.
'Logical steps, things to do, plenty of helpful resources.
Flying Start can be picked up at any time and dipped in and out of for ideas and motivation. ' |
So, what do I get?
